FAQs

How will I know if coaching is right for me?

If you want to make change in your life, reach your goals, be your best and achieve higher levels of performance coaching could be great for you.

What kind of commitment will I be expected to make?

For you to get the most out of coaching, commitment and hard work will be required. Commitment to come to the process with an open mind, being prepared to take risks and to try new behaviours or ways of thinking. Commitment to doing practical homework tasks between sessions. And the commitment to be vulnerable and maybe face uncomfortable truths about past behaviours, thought patterns or ways of doing things. As with so many things, you’ll get out what you put in.

Are your sessions conducted online or in person?

I tend to conduct my sessions over Zoom but if you live in London and would prefer face-to-face coaching (lockdown limitations permitting) please let me know.

What kind of issues do you help people with?

My clients tend to come to me when they can’t make headway with a work-related issue (career crossroads, struggling to find work/life balance, wanting to take their business in a new direction etc.). Sometimes we will focus on solving that particular problem, but sometimes it emerges that the issue they came with is not actually ‘the issue’ and will take us in a different direction…and sometimes that direction ends up not being work related at all. The client is always in the driving seat and they decide what will be the most valuable route to take.

Why can’t I book just one session?

It takes time to make lasting change. that’s why I offer one month and three month packages. Once completed, it is possible to add further sessions on a month-by-month basis.

Coach, mentor, therapist…what’s the difference?

A Coach is future focused and action-oriented. They support their client to change ingrained behaviours and thought patterns that are holding the client back from reaching their goals and living a purposeful life.

A Mentor is someone who is an expert in the client’s career field. The have ‘been there and done that’ and will offer practical advise based on their experience.

A Therapist will focus on the client’s mental health. They will look into the client’s past to heal trauma and enable a brighter future.
